March Birthday

I would like to wish my March student a very Happy Birthday!

January and February Highlights

The year 2013 has started off great!  In January, students wrote letters, made Valentine's cards, and prepared packages for troops serving in Afghanistan.

In February, students celebrated the 100th day of school by dressing up like they were 100 years old.

 

All second grade students participated in the Georgia Day Parade to honor the founding of Georgia.  Unfortunately, the field trip in downtown Savannah had to be cancelled due to the rain, but the students still enjoyed marching through the school in their colonial and indian attire.

               

My class honored Black History Month by participating in the National African American Read-In Day.    Local high school students stopped by to read to students.
