Night Sky Field Trip

On Tuesday, student were able to enjoy an in-school field trip to learn more about the night sky.  Students entered a digitarium to view many constellations and watch how the star pictures we see in the sky change throughout the night due to Earth's rotation.  A special thanks goes to Oatland Island for allowing our students to have this experience.

We got the MAIN IDEA!

Light bulbs came on as students learned how to identify the main idea in reading.  Check out the class with their light bulb head bands.

September Birthdays

I would like to wish my September students a very Happy Birthday!

Fun with the Night Sky

The students really enjoyed learning about the night sky.  They were able to use their imagination to create their own constellation, carve Oreos to show the moon phases, and have class in a bubble to review the phases of the moon.
