Last Thursday, students were given the chance to celebrate
the season of fall by participating in The Second Grade Fall Festival. Students
had a great time visiting the multiple booths at the celebration, and loved all
of the candy and prizes they were able to take home from the event. Thank you
to all the parents who donated materials and helped out at the festival! The event wouldn’t have been a success without all of your help!

50's Day
On Monday, students celebrated the fiftieth day of school with 50’s
inspired activities. The class had a great time dressing the part in poodle
skirts, rolled jeans, and slicked back hair. Throughout the day the students
created multiple 50’s inspired projects, listened to music from the decade, practiced
their moves at a class sock hop, and enjoyed a classic root beer/coke float. The
students all had a blast celebrating the day!
