Happy Holidays!

Christmas is right around the corner.  I am looking forward to all the crafts and fun students will have in the coming days.

                                           

On Rudolph and The Grinch themed days, students practiced their artistic ability by completing directive drawings and writing stories.

                                     

            

December Birthdays

I would like to wish my December student a very Happy Birthday!!

Matter

Matter is everywhere!  The students had fun exploring the three states of matter and how matter can change from one state to another.  Students made butter, ice cream, and went inside a bubble to see up close that gases take the shape of their containers.

Fall Events

On October 30th, students were able to dress in their costumes and participate in many games to win prizes at the Second Grade Fall Festival.

On October 19th, students went back in time to the fifties to celebrate the 50th day of school.  Students sipped coke floats, hula hooped, and twisted to the tunes at a sock hop.
