October Events

We celebrated the 50th day of school by having a sock hop.  Students participated in many activities using the number 50, sipped coke floats, and enjoyed dancing at the sock hop.  

Magic Marc performed for the students at GSS.  He brought some of his furry and slithering friends. Not only did he entertain the students with magic tricks, he also talked about showing good character.

November Events

We started November with the Annual Second Grade Fall Festival.  Students had a blast participating in games and activities to win prizes. 

Students got to explore the constellations in a digitarium.  Oatland Island brought the starts to our gym so students could learn more about the night sky.
